March 21: 2016 Campaign Management Training 1.0 Registration Closes
Campaign Management Training 1.0 attendees will learn the details of the various NAR campaign tools and resources available to state and local associations; meet and network with NAR staff and vendors that assist with issue and candidate campaigns; learn about the new, cutting edge tools and approaches to campaign engagement; and participate in hands-on training scenarios. CMT 1.0 graduates rave that this training gives them the ability to face any candidate or issue campaign with confidence.

April 30: Call for Interest in 2016 – 2017 GAD Advisory Group Vice Chair Position
Candidates for Vice Chair must submit a statement of interest to the designated staff person of the National Association of REALTORS® of the year in which the election is being held. All candidates meeting this requirement will by April 30 have their names placed on the printed ballot. The statement of interest should include the candidate’s qualifications, reasons for seeking the position, an indication of support from their association executive and an affirmation of interest in fulfilling the responsibilities of the position. The names of candidates who have complied with this requirement will be announced during the GAD meeting at the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo. Click here for details. Paula Martino Named New Director for Corporate Fundraising
NAR is happy to welcome Paula Martino to the Community & Political Affairs staff. Paula is the new Director of Corporate Fundraising. In this role, Paula directs the soft dollar fundraising program, Corporate Ally Program and is the staff executive for the Corporate Investor Council. Paula brings vast experience and knowledge to the position, as she served four years as a REALTOR® Party Consultant in addition to owning her own political and government consulting firm (including REALTOR® Association clients). 2017 RPAC President’s Circle Conference Location and Dates
A long-standing tradition of the President’s Circle program is the preeminent President’s Circle Conference, which provides an opportunity to network with NAR’s top political investors and to engage with cutting edge speakers. The 3-day conference is held annually at a top hotel or resort; 3 nights’ hotel accommodations, receptions, most meals, and the full conference program are included in the $495 registration fee for the President’s Circle member and a guest. The location and dates of the 2017 President’s Circle Conference have just been announced! Next year’s conference will be held March 5-8, 2017 in Maui, Hawaii. Lobbyist Breakouts during the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo
Please make note of the following meetings important to state GADs and FPCs during the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo in May. This year, NAR is providing state GADs and FPCs access to “Lobbyist Prep Salons” the morning of May 10. This is your opportunity to network with other state GADs and FPCs while getting personal time and training with lobbyists. The NAR political directors also will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. These sessions will better prepare state GADs and FPCs for their day on Capitol Hill and ensure you all have the best possible meetings with your Members of Congress. 2016 President’s Circle Update
President’s Circle launched its second round, consisting of twelve new targets, to President’s Circle members on February 19. During this round, President’s Circle members may invest as little as $500 or up to the full $2,000 in any of the twelve REALTOR® Champions targets. The first $500 for President’s Circle is due by May 31, 2016.
