Participate in a Phone-A-Friend for RPAC Fundraising Week
Looking for a way to boost your RPAC participation and receipts? Phone banks are a fun way to help you reach your RPAC goals! To ease the planning work for you, we are hosting two special phone bank weeks this year: September 18-22 and October 9-13. We’ll set everything up in the PAC Management System, allowing you to focus on recruiting volunteers and planning the event. 2017 President’s Circle Deadline
The deadline for all President’s Circle commitments to be completed is September 30, 2017. President’s Circle members may invest as little as $500 or up to the full $2,000 in any of the REALTOR® Champions targets. View the current President’s Circle Roster online. 2018 President’s Circle Conference Update
The 2018 President’s Circle Conference will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas from March 1-4, 2018. Remind your members: All persons traveling to the Bahamas must have a valid US Passport. All President’s Circle commitments must be completed by September 30, 2017. Conference registration will open on October 5 for those who complete their investments from September 1 - September 30.

Placemaking Grant Deadline is October 15

2018 GAD Institute Dates and Budget Items
For your planning purposes, the 2018 GAD Institute will be in Portland, Oregon July 17 – 20, 2018. NAR group rates at the Hilton Portland and Executive Tower are $249/night. The registration fee will remain the same at $500 (late registration will be $550). Plan now and we hope to see you there! |

Events of Note at Annual Conference and Expo |
|
Meet a Core Standard and Provide a Member Benefit—At the Same Time
Stop by the Expanding Housing Opportunities (EHO) and the Employer-Assisted Housing (EAH) classes to learn more about offering these courses, which satisfy a Community Outreach Core Standard requirement. Students who take the EHO class learn to better leverage partnerships and resources to expand housing opportunities. Those who take the EAH class will learn how to work with a team to approach employers to offer their employees an EAH benefit—education, counseling and/or financial assistance. The classes can be funded with a Housing Opportunity Grant. Both classes will be held Thursday, November 2, 9:00 AM -1:00 PM (stay for the whole class or drop by both classes). Free for GADs and AEs.

2017 RPAC Fundraising Forum Tailgate
Calling all sports fans! Friday, November 3 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, RPAC will be hosting a sports themed auction. Encourage your members to join us in their favorite team’s gear and bid on items to finish out their RPAC investments for the year. Do you or a member have an item to donate to the auction? RPAC Major Investor Reception
The RPAC Major Investor Reception will be held Saturday, November 4 from 6:30-9:30pm at the Museum of Science and Industry. As the largest science museum in the country, the Museum of Science and Industry features interactive exhibits including a historic steam locomotive, a submarine, and a 40-foot tornado! REALTOR® Relief, Promote NFIP Call for Action, and meet a Core Standard
Among those on the front lines as Harvey and now Irma hit small towns and big cities are REALTORS®. They’re putting their communities first by helping with rescues and also contributing money to relief efforts. They’re also responding to NAR’s Call for Action to get federal flood insurance extended before it expires in three weeks. Promote the Flood Insurance Call for Action (CFA) and help hurricane victims, plus meet a Core Standard. Answer four simple questions on the CFA Toolkit to create Web banners and social share buttons to include on your association’s website, in emails and on social media.
