FPC STIPEND PROCESS FOR REALTOR® LEGISLATIVE MEETINGS
|
|
DEADLINE JULY 1
Every year the Federal Political Coordinators are afforded a stipend of up to $1,000 to attend the REALTOR® Legislative Meetings (RLM). Please send your invoices to NAR by July 1, 2023.
To submit for the stipend from NAR follow these steps:
- FPCs complete a state expense report (if you have one, please communicate this clearly to your FPCs) or an NAR member expense report for up to $1000 of travel expenses incurred during RLM.
- Expenses allowed include airfare, lodging, taxis and meals. This stipend will not cover all their expenses, but only help to minimize costs.
- FPCs will send their expense reports to their State GAD.
- State GADs will collect/monitor these expenses and send one invoice on state letterhead with the grand total of all FPC travel to Victoria Givens.
FPC Stipend Invoices are due to NAR by July 1.
NAR will then immediately process a check for reimbursement. Thank you to those GADs who have already submitted. If you have any questions, please reach out to Victoria Givens (vgivens@nar.realtor | 202-383-1021) |

MESSAGE FROM THE GAD CHAIR |
Josh Dix
GAD Chair
Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS®
It was great catching up in DC! I appreciated the lack of heckling from the crowd.
The GAD AG met in DC and finalized the agenda for the 2023 Detroit GAD Institute, July 18-20. To date, over 200 GADs have already registered! The excitement is building, and we look forward to hosting a great Institute! Don’t forget to register and miss the incredible programming at this year’s Institute.
We are excited to announce Tanis Roeder, a communications expert, will be our opening day speaker on July 18! This is an interactive experience on the art of effective communication, a skill we all need when talking to elected officials or our members. Make sure you are there to launch the Institute!
This year’s GADs Give Back recipient is COTS Detroit. COTS works to address homelessness in Detroit through economic prosperity. Partnerships like these, allow COTS to help families to achieve their goals and overcome homelessness and create generational wealth for their families. Click here to contribute to GADs Give Back.
NAR and Team Michigan have selected great reception locations for us to experience Michigan and connect with GADs from across the country. We look forward to seeing y'all there and hearing the story of Detroit, Michigan.
See you in July!
