Regulators Propose to Delay New Closing Rules |
The REALTOR® Party is welcoming a proposed delay in new disclosure requirements for real estate closings. The Consumer Finance Protection Board is proposing to give lenders and others involved in real estate closings a little more time to gear up for the new rules. While new the date is not final, the Aug. 1 effective date could be moved to Oct. 3. |
