Campaign Coverage 2016: The REALTOR® Party Spoke Loud & Clear |
While it’s true that the 2016 election is over, don’t get too relaxed. The REALTOR® Party never stops working! We won 75 percent of the state and local races we supported so far. Last night, we elected 34 REALTORS® to public office…and counting! Our results were impressive, and we hope you’ll check them out at www.realtoractioncenter.com/elections. Clearly, the REALTOR® Party made a positive difference in races and issue campaigns across the country, but our work has just begun. |

REALTORS® Need to Know the Rules When It Comes to Lead Pipes |
In 1986, the use of lead in water pipes was banned. However, the recent Flint, MI, water crisis put a national spotlight on lead in pipes. It is estimated that there are 6.1 million lead-containing water service lines in use providing water to 15 to 22 million people. State laws generally require buyer disclosure if the seller knows something is unsafe with the water supply. Learn more about lead pipes in the latest Hot Topic Alert. |
