Your Vote is Your Voice |
Election Day is 61 days away, and we are inundated with radio, television and internet advertisements, each telling us to vote for this candidate or against that issue. What these commercials don’t tell you is that your political beliefs don’t mean anything if you don’t exercise your right to vote. That is why we are asking all REALTORS® to register to vote today. It's quick and easy. |

NAR Ready as Feds Look at Smart Homes |
The U.S. Department of Commerce is preparing to look at what rules, if any, are needed to govern smart homes and the so-called “Internet of Things.” The “Internet of Things” refers to the online collection of data from smart appliances and devices. NAR will be involved in the regulatory process, and it brings an important strength. Earlier this year, it launched a smart-home technology lab that works with companies to develop smart appliances that generate data that will help households make smart buyer, seller and owner decisions. The new regulatory effort is a top story in the Voice for Real Estate news video from NAR. Also in the video: “How to Use Drones Now that Federal Commercial Drone Rules are in Effect.” |
