REALTORS® Needed on Tax Reform, Lawmakers say |
We were excited to welcome the chairman of the tax-writing House Ways & Means Committee, who joined the REALTORS® at NAR’s 2017 Federal Policy Conference & Federal Political Coordinator (FPC) Training in Washington yesterday. He, other lawmakers and congressional staffers urged us to stay engaged over the next year while lawmakers look at a full-scale reform of the country’s tax code.

The Voice for Real Estate: No Change in FHA Premiums Due to Suspension |
FHA mortgage insurance premiums will remain unchanged now that the Trump administration has suspended an Obama administration reduction that was set to take effect in late January. For most borrowers taking out a 30-year mortgage with 3.5 percent down, the premium will remain 0.8 percent. It was slated to drop to .55 percent before the suspension. NAR supports putting the lower premiums back on the books. Details in the latest Voice for Real Estate news video from NAR. |
