Idaho REALTORS® Secure Legislation Tipping the Balance in Favor of First-time Homebuyers
The REALTORS® of the Schuylkill County Board leverage a Placemaking Grant to bring a local playground swinging back to life. Helen Miernicki, the REALTOR® who spearheaded the project, having learned the workings of the Borough Council, and is currently serving a second City Council term as an indispensable public servant – and the only woman on the local governing body.

The Idaho Association of REALTOR® brought its savvy advocacy to bear on a pair of bills helping first-time homebuyers get a leg up in an increasingly expensive market: a dedicated tax-free savings account program, and the elimination of the filing deadline for applying for a homeowner’s tax exemption. Both have been signed into law.
